So, you’re here. Which means you love food, kids, or at the very least, the idea of food and kids learning stuff together. (If you’re just here because you clicked the wrong link, that’s okay too—stick around, we promise it’s fun!)
Let’s get right to it: Safari Bites is an after-school cooking adventure led by 9-year-old CEO (yep, you read that right) Madhav Somani. This isn’t just any kids’ cooking class. It’s a wild, hands-on, taste-bud-tingling journey through:
- Healthy eating – Because veggies don’t have to be boring.
- Global flavors – Ever built a Japanese bento box? Or tasted spices from India? We do that.
- Food science – Want to know why lemonade tastes extra sweet when it’s warm? We’ll figure it out together.
Every class is one part learning, one part adventure, and all parts delicious.
Who’s Behind All This Fun?
Oh yeah, that’s Madhav.
- 9 years old.
- Loves food, history, and coming up with big ideas.
- Decided one day that kids should have more fun learning about what they eat.
He convinced his mom (with minimal begging), and together, they built Safari Bites—a place where kids don’t just eat food, they understand it.
His plan? Start with cooking classes, then move on to world domination. Okay, maybe not world domination (yet), but vending machines, food trucks, and cookies are definitely on the vision board.

So, What Happens at Safari Bites?
It’s simple:
- 1.We show up at your kid’s school (because driving kids to a million after-school activities is already a full-time job).
- 2. We teach them cool stuff about food. Where it comes from, how it’s made, and why your taste buds think pickles are weird.
- 3. They get hands-on! Mixing, building, and creating their own dishes—NO stoves, NO flames, NO mess (okay, maybe a little mess).
- 4.They go home with new knowledge, new skills, and possibly a strong opinion about whether mangoes or apples are superior.
Safari Bites is about more than just cooking. It’s about learning, experimenting, and getting excited about the food we eat every day.
But Wait… This Sounds Educational. Will My Kid Actually Like It?
YES.
We’re not here to make them memorize nutrition labels. We’re here to make learning about food fun, interactive, and a little bit messy. (Sorry in advance.)
Here’s why kids love it:
- They get to make food with their own hands (no boring lectures here).
- They get to taste-test new flavors (no pressure, but we bet they’ll love it).
- They get to experiment like tiny food scientists (because food is basically edible chemistry).
And parents? Well, parents love it because:
- Their kids are learning real-life skills (that might eventually lead to breakfast in bed).
- It’s an easy, structured activity that happens right at school.
- No clean-up required on their end.
