After-School Adventures in Food, Culture & STEM

Safari Bites brings global cooking, culture, robotics and STEM to your child’s school—no extra driving required.

WHAT IS SAFARI BITES?
So, you’re here.
Which probably means you love food, kids, robots… or at least the idea of kids learning something cool after school.
(And if you clicked the wrong link, that’s okay too—this is still more fun than your inbox.)
Safari Bites is an after-school educational adventure led by 9-year-old founder, Madhav Somani.

Kids don’t just sit and listen. They:

It’s a hands-on, brain-on, taste-bud-tingling journey through:

Every class is one part learning, one part adventure, and all parts fun.

WHO’S BEHIND SAFARI BITES?

Meet Madhav, our founder.
He convinced his dad, Abhishek Somani—an energy scientist who solves real-world problems for a national lab—to help turn his idea into a real program.

Madhav’s vision:

World domination? Not yet.
But after-school adventures? Absolutely.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS IN A CLASS?

It’s simple:

Because driving to one more activity shouldn’t be a second job.

  • 🍴 Global Kitchen – cooking, food stories, culture & food science
  • 🤖 STEM Explorers – robotics, coding, engineering & creative problem-solving
  • Mixing, assembling, building, coding, experimenting

    No stoves. No flames.

  • Just safe, well-structured activities… with a little bit of fun chaos.
  • new skills
  • new confidence
  • new stories about robots, spices, foods, and experiments
  • and possibly a very strong opinion about whether mangoes or apples are superior

It’s about curiosity, creativity, and kids realizing:

WILL MY KID ACTUALLY LIKE THIS?

Yes:

Kids love Safari Bites because:

  • They make things with their own hands—recipes, robots, projects
  • They get to taste-test new flavors and try new challenges
  • They get to experiment like mini scientists and engineers

Parents love Safari Bites because:

  • Kids learn real-life skills (measuring, building, problem-solving, teamwork)
  • There’s no clean-up at home (you’re welcome)
  • Everything happens right at school—no extra driving
